EdgeZu Network Configuration
EdgeZu appliances require reliable outbound connectivity to Monozu Cloud and optional LAN access for discovery, VPN, and backup modules.
Outbound requirements

No inbound firewall rules are required for cloud-to-edge initiation.
On-appliance setup
Section titled “On-appliance setup”During First Boot the TUI configures:
- Management interface (DHCP or static)
- Default route and DNS
- Proxy settings if the site uses an HTTP proxy
SPAN / monitoring port
Section titled “SPAN / monitoring port”When the security or discovery module uses a SPAN port, connect mirror traffic from the OT switch to the designated interface. Mis-cabling may reduce discovery quality without blocking cloud registration.
