Creating an Incident

Create an incident when production, safety, or service is affected and you need tracked response, assignment, and audit history.

  • module.incidents and incidents.create
  • At least one Site in the tenant
  1. Go to Incidents (/incidents) and click New Incident, or open /incidents/new.

  2. Select Site (required).

  3. Enter Title and Description (required for submission in the UI).

  4. Set Severity, Category, and other fields shown on the form (priority may be derived from impact/urgency when configured).

  5. Link affected assets — search and attach PLCs, servers, or network devices for impact analysis and per-device history.

  6. Click Submit Incident. The record opens on the detail page with status starting in the New/Acknowledged flow per your tenant configuration.

When category is OT or Safety, additional fields may include production impact, safety impact, and operational criticality. Use them for prioritization and reporting.
