Backup Overview
The backup module stores configuration snapshots collected from your site by a Monozu edge appliance, with repository hierarchy and integrity checks (SHA-256).
Module availability
Section titled “Module availability”Requires module.backup and a licensed backup feature. Menu entries appear under Backup when enabled.

Backups are initiated from the edge toward cloud storage; customers do not open inbound ports for backup ingest.
Typical workflow
Section titled “Typical workflow”- Ensure backup is enabled in your license and the site has a Connected edge appliance (installed by Monozu).
- Configure repositories and schedules — Scheduling Backups.
- After jobs run, browse the repository to compare versions or support restore procedures defined by your operations team.
