Change Management Overview
Change management tracks planned work on production systems — patches, configuration updates, network changes, and OT maintenance — with approvals and links to incidents, releases, and maintenance windows.
Module access
Section titled “Module access”Requires module.changes. Permissions follow resource CRUD: changes.read, changes.create, changes.update, changes.delete.
Change types

| Standard | Pre-approved, low-risk, repeatable |
| Normal | Requires CAB / approver sign-off |
| Emergency | Urgent fix; emergency reason required |

Relationships
Section titled “Relationships”Changes may link to incidents, assets, releases, and maintenance windows. VPN policies can require an approved change ID before connect.
