Edge Appliance Overview
The Monozu edge appliance (EdgeZu) is on-premises hardware supplied by Monozu. It connects your OT/IT networks to Monozu Cloud using outbound-only traffic — no inbound firewall holes at your site.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”| Capability | Benefit in Monozu Cloud |
|---|---|
| Asset discovery | Populates Assets / CMDB with hosts seen on local VLANs (Discovery) |
| VPN gateway | Remote access to specific assets via VPN and access policies (VPN Overview) |
| Backup collection | Configuration snapshots stored in cloud repositories (Backup) |
