Edge Appliance Overview

The Monozu edge appliance (EdgeZu) is on-premises hardware supplied by Monozu. It connects your OT/IT networks to Monozu Cloud using outbound-only traffic — no inbound firewall holes at your site.

What it does

Each appliance is usually deployed per VLAN or isolated segment. It discovers and monitors only the network attached to its LAN interface(s).

How you interact with it

Note

After registration, day-to-day work happens in the cloud UI. You only return to SSH/TUI for network changes, module enablement, or re-registration after hardware replacement.
